‘Damsel’, the new Netflix movie starring Millie Bobby Brown, has the ending many wished to see in ‘Game of Thrones’.

In the movie, released on streaming on March 8th, Brown plays a princess named Elodie, who is deceived by a prince who abandons her in the cave of a vengeful dragon; to save herself, she must face many challenges.

But not only the movie’s story, but especially its ending, are turning the traditional fairy tale narrative upside down, as screenwriter Dan Mazeau explained to TheWrap: “It’s about taking these traditional stories of knights in shining armor and exploring them from a different perspective, and part of that is not only saving oneself but also becoming the savior of someone else.” “We wanted Elodie to go through the entire arc of a heroine, starting as someone afraid until becoming someone strong.”

In the plot, the maiden portrayed by Brown agrees to marry a handsome prince, unaware that the royalty intends to sacrifice her to pay an old debt. Trapped in the cave of a fire-spitting dragon, she will need to use her intelligence and perseverance to escape.

Brown’s portrayal as the scorned princess is being praised by fans, and the ending her character gets was what many hoped for Daenerys Targaryen, the Mother of Dragons in ‘Game of Thrones’.

In addition to Bobby Brown, names like Robin Wright, Angela Bassett, and Nick Robinson are in the cast. The director is Juan Carlos Fresnadillo, known for his work on “Intacto” (2001) and “28 Weeks Later” (2007).
